After a long standing career in hospitality I was searching for something challenging and fulfilling, Calling on my experience as a commercial leader, I chose to follow a dream and create something new and fresh within the property market. And so Caplen Estates was born!

Opening my own business, Caplen Estates has been the ultimate experience. Working with family can always be tricky but going into business with my brother has offered me a level of support I could have only imagined. Trust, empathy, drive and wanting the best for you and all those around you.

Having worked in the property industry for many years, I wanted to take things to the next level, giving me an opportunity to showcase my skills and experience within our family business at Caplen Estates.

Living and growing up within the local area enables me to connect with the local community and its customers, offering our values, which derive from being a family business; honesty, transparency, trust and great customer service.

After working as a PA in large corporate organisations in Central London and Canary Wharf for over 13 years, I moved to Abu Dhabi in the UAE, where I took on the role of Business Development Manager in an international bank. Following 10yrs in the UAE and a career break to raise my two children, I now work as Office Manager for Caplen Estates, with a focus primarily on all aspects of office management, marketing and sponsorship opportunities within the local community and also providing support to our Sales & Lettings Team.

How do you become a property manager? After leaving school, I studied hospitality for a year before becoming a Nursery Nurse. I have always enjoyed taking care of people’s wants and needs and that is when I discovered property management. I enjoy interacting with landlords and tenants and even better, I help solve any issues that arise, from a broken boiler to a simple lock change. This is what I LOVE to do! No issue is too big or too small… I am always here to help.

After over 20 successful years working on the High Street in the corporate estate agency world, I have joined forces with Caplen Estates, the leading Estate Agent in Buckhurst Hill. I will be here helping friends, families, clients and local community members with their moves, every step of the way, 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

To be able to be part of this fresh, growing, professional, relationship based, expanding company whilst living in Buckhurst Hill as well, is fantastic, as my clients will not be able to receive an offer of better service, anywhere, as its direct, from my heart.

Being drawn to the property industry, working for a London-based independent estate agent and discovered the beauty of East London and the surrounding areas has lead me to a new career with Caplen Estates. Working in the local community has been great experience and taking the Branch Manager job in a family run business as Caplen Estates was a natural continuation. After working for an investment bank for over 15 years, 7yrs of which I worked as an Executive Assistant, I took a career break after having children and decided on a new career in property development. I have now joined the team at Caplen Estates as the Sales and Letting Administrator. Having been on the other side of the property market, I value good customer service and aim to provide this to our clients at the highest level.

Having worked within the property sector from college education, I have picked up a wide breadth of knowledge in all aspects of property. I spent 5 years within the New Build sector mainly working with Retirement Developers, so have extensive knowledge of the Part Exchange process and Shared Ownership.

This is where I found my passion for Sales Progression/Conveyancing as I found this really suited my kind natured personality. This role enables me to guide my clients through the process to make sure it is stress-free and working within a family run business who care for their clients and the community really helps to make this happen.

After working in an administration role for the past 18 years I was looking for a new challenge.
When the opportunity arose to work in the local community within a family run business I jumped at the chance. I’m looking forward to offering a transparent, honest and reliable approach to property solutions.

Property has always been of interest, I spent my early career in South London as a negotiator and progressed through the ranks for a large independent London-based estate agent. After 5 years I started my very own little family and have taken the plunge to join the family business. We are a tenacious team who are knowledgeable and ever growing, I am excited for the future with Caplen Estates.
